- (*This is a remote position, considering time zone issue, candidates located in the west coast of the USA would be preferred.)
- Enhance business growth by seeking new growth areas, cross-selling new products to existing clients, generating ideas for new products to respond to changing customer needs, and seeking a diversified portfolio by expanding the product line
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets. Establishing the sales metrics and goals across the sales and key accounts teams
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
- Oversee and implement the full sales cycle which involves market research, market analysis, pitching to various prospects, and client retention
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
- Work closely with business units to influence development of new products that solve for customer objectives and needs
- Tracking and reporting on the various marketing strategies to improve on the winning strategies, adjust the ineffective strategies, or change to a new strategy
- Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t
- You’re fluent in English and have experience working with North American and/or European customers in food industry and/or information & technology industry
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- 7+ Years of of experience, with a proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
- Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Understanding of how to position products against competitors
- Outgoing individual with high negotiating skills to be able to initiate and close business deals.
- Hours: This role will focus on global partnerships and requires availability for worldwide calls with partners in the US, Europe and China.
- Travel: This role will include travel to meet with global clients in person
