Yields 9 cups.

For the turkey, feel free to add in a cup or so of broth, if you like a thinner chili. You can also use any type of ground meat you prefer.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook Ground Turkey (455 g) until no longer pink.
Step 2
Meanwhile, add Onion (1) and Bell Pepper (1) to a large pot and sauté until soft, then add the browned turkey meat.
Step 3
To the same pot, add Crushed Tomatoes (1 can) , Black Beans (1 can) , Green Chili Peppers (1 can) , Chili Powder (1 1/2 Tbsp) , Ground Cumin (1 Tbsp) , Garlic Salt (to taste) , and Ground Black Pepper (to taste) . Bring to a boil, decrease heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Step 4
Chili is ready to go and delicious after 30 minutes, but the leftover chili (after the seasonings have had a chance to meld) is amazing. Garnish with toppings of choice and enjoy!
