This really is the gravy for everything right here. This is the simplest most basic gravy recipe and goes on everything from potatoes to poutine to stuffing and even biscuits! It's so good, the non-vegans won't even know it's vegan.

1 minced Shallot
2 cup Vegetable Broth
1 cup Dry White Wine
1/3 cup Vegan Butter , divided
1 tablespoon Corn Starch
2 tablespoon Water

STEP 1
Melt half of the Vegan Butter (1/3 cup) in a pan over medium-high heat.
STEP 2
Add Shallot (1) and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
STEP 3
Add Vegetable Broth (2 cup) to pan and increase heat to high. Bring mixture to a boil.
STEP 4
Once boiling and slightly thickened, add Dry White Wine (1 cup) and boil until reduced by a third.
STEP 5
Slowly whisk in remaining vegan butter, 1 tbsp at a time.
STEP 6
Mix in Corn Starch (1 tablespoon) and Water (2 tablespoon) mixture and whisk until thick.
