Healthy Chocolate Hummus

Healthy chocolate hummus recipe takes less than five minutes to throw together. Made with wholesome ingredients, it's quick, easy, vegan, dairy and gluten-free. Serve it with some apple slices, oatcakes, on a piece of my homemade bread or just straight from the blender bowl with a spoon.

15 ounce Canned Chickpeas
3 tablespoon Peanut Butter
2 tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 tablespoon Rice Nectar
1 tablespoon Water

STEP 1
In a blender/food processor add Canned Chickpeas (15 ounce), Peanut Butter (3 tablespoon), Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (2 tablespoon), Rice Nectar (2 tablespoon), Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon), and Water (1 tablespoon).
STEP 2
Blend until smooth – you may need to scrape down the sides of the food processor a couple of times with a spatula.
STEP 3
Add extra water at a time to thin as needed.
STEP 4
Transfer the chocolate hummus to a small serving bowl.
STEP 5
Grate some extra Dark Chocolate (to taste) on top. Serve with your favourite fruit, oatcakes or on a toast. Enjoy!
