Core the Asian Pears (4) and Apples (4), and chop into quarter inch pieces. Place fruit in a heavy bottom pot, and turn the stove burner to low.

Mix juice from Lemon (1), Water (2 Tbsp), and Honey (to taste). Add liquid mixture, Cayenne Pepper (1/8 tsp), and Ground Ginger (1/8 tsp) to the pot. Cover, and let simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes, or until fruit is soft.
