Water (3 cups)
Corn Masa Flour (1/2 cup)
La Lechera® Dulce de Leche (1/2 cup)
Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp)
Ground Cinnamon (1/2 Tbsp)
in a blender and cover. Blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a large saucepan and whisk in the
2% Reduced Fat Milk (2 cups)
Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Remove the atole from the heat and stir in the
Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
. Serve hot.
