Author's Notes

If using frozen pie shell, use deep-dish style, thawed completely. Bake on baking sheet; increase baking time slightly.

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C).

Beat the Farmhouse Eggs® Large Brown Eggs (2) in a large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy.

Beat in the All-Purpose Flour (1/2 cup), Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup), and Brown Sugar (1/2 cup). Beat in the Butter (3/4 cup) and stir in the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (1 cup) and Chopped Nuts (1 cup).

Spoon the mixture into a 9-inch deep-dish shell.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the edge and center comes out clean.
