Raspberry & Dark Chocolate Grilled Cheese
Chocolate, raspberries and cheddar cheese?? It shouldn't work, but it does. It really does!
2 slice Sourdough Bread
1/4 cup Fresh Raspberries
2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
6 slice Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup Chopped Dark Chocolate
Cut the Sourdough Bread into thick slices.
Spread one slice of bread with 1/2 tablespoon of Unsalted Butter.
Place butter side down on the cutting board. Top unbuttered side of the bread with 3 slices of Cheddar Cheese.
Layer Fresh Raspberries over the cheese.
Gently mash the raspberries.
Top with chopped dark chocolate (1/4 cup) and remaining 3 slices of cheddar.
Place second slice of bread on top and spread with ½ tablespoon butter.
Heat a nonstick small skillet over medium heat. Slide in 1 tablespoon of butter.
Once butter has melted, place sandwich in skillet.
When underside is golden brown, about 4 minutes, turn sandwich and cook for another 4 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Eat immediately and enjoy!
