Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Grease bread pans with butter, so batter doesn’t stick.

In a large bowl, add Granulated Sugar (3 cups), Vegetable Oil (1 cup), Canned Pumpkin Purée (2 cups), {@12:}, All-Purpose Flour (3 1/2 cups), Baking Soda (1/2 Tbsp), {@11:}, Baking Powder (1 tsp), Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp), Ground Nutmeg (1 tsp), Ground Allspice (1 tsp), Ground Cloves (1/2 tsp), and {@10:}.

Mix well with electric mixer.

Hand mix optional ingredients such as a cup of semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips, pecans, or raisins into the bowl.

Spoon in batter about halfway or a bit more in the loaf pans.

Bake for about 1 hour until loaf is cooked and springs back. Be careful not to overcook; it makes the bread a bit dryer.
