SideChef Announces Two New Executive Leaders

The tech start-up has welcomed two new executive leaders to its US office, Vice President of Business Development & Sales, Sean Besser, and Director of Content Partnerships, Regan Burns.

San Jose, CA, June 29, 2021: SideChef, the all-in-one cooking platform, is thrilled to announce the appointment of two new executive leaders, Sean Besser as Vice President of Business Development & Sales and Regan Burns as Director of Content Partnerships.

As VP of Business Development & Sales, Sean will be leading SideChef's efforts in driving new business growth globally across Smart Kitchen, Grocery, and Technology categories out of the SideChef US office. Sean is an advisor and mentor to multiple startups and has extensive experience in business development and strategic planning in the food and media technology industries. He most recently held a leadership role at June Oven, a smart oven aiming to transform the kitchen and bring restaurant-level performance to the home. Sean is also a serial entrepreneur who has achieved successful exits at multiple startups, including Tapslash, which was acquired by GIPHY in 2018.

Regan joins SideChef as Director of Content Partnerships, forging new partnership opportunities with heavy-weight media companies to place SideChef’s technology and content in front of more users. Regan has 15 years of food media experience with brands such as Food Network, Martha Stewart, Saveur, and Chowhound. She has worked on creating award-winning culinary content, apps, and digital experiences that inspire and delight millions of hungry users. Accolades include James Beard Award nominee for best food website (CHOW.com) and Webby “People’s Voice” Award winner (Food Network Kitchen).
