Combine Water (1.4 L), Distilled White Vinegar (480 mL), Granulated Sugar (1 Tbsp), Salt (1 Tbsp), Garlic (1 Tbsp), Fresh Dill (1 sprig), and Peppercorns (1 tsp) in a large pot and bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat.
