Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

These air fryer baked potatoes will change your life with their crispy skins and hands-off cooking. In summer, they save you from the heat of the oven. In winter, they free up your oven for a tasty main dish while your potatoes cook. Top them with anything you like - but we’re partial to a spud loaded up with sour cream, cheese, scallions, and bacon!

Author's Notes

You can use larger potatoes but they will take longer to cook (40-45 minutes), check every 5 minutes until you can pierce the largest one easily with a fork.

Cooking Instructions

Hide images
step 1
Once you’ve washed the Potatoes (4), make sure they are totally dry. This will give you crispy skin.
step 2
Prep the potatoes by piercing the outside with a knife or fork. Drizzle with Olive Oil (1 Tbsp), rub it in, then sprinkle with Sea Salt Flakes (1 Tbsp). Even coverage is key here.
step 3
Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket with space in between each one. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and cook for 30-40 minutes. Potatoes are done when the largest one can be easily pierced with a fork.
step 4
Cut open and serve with Sour Cream (to taste), Shredded Cheddar Cheese (to taste), Scallions (to taste), Bacon (to taste), and Ground Black Pepper (to taste).
