These chocolate-covered dates are a tasty and super easy-to-make snack, perfect as a gift for your friends and family. These incredibly addictive snacks are vegan, gluten-free, and naturally sweetened with an added crunch of texture from the peanut butter and almond. It's like a mini energy bar but healthier and tastier!

Author's Notes

If your dates are quite small, you can stuff only one whole almond in each date.

You can keep the chocolate-covered date in a sealed container for up to a week and can enjoy it anytime.

step 1
Cut a slit on each Medjool Dates (20) lengthwise and remove the pit.
step 2
Fill about 1 tsp of SKIPPY® SUPER CHUNK® Peanut Butter (130 g) in each date, then stuff 2 Almonds (40) in the middle. Close the dates, and set them aside.
step 3
Place the Dark Chocolate (170 g) and Coconut Oil (2 tsp) in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave in 15-second increments, stirring in between and until smooth.
step 4
Place dates in the melted chocolate and use a spoon to help coat the date. Use a fork to scoop out and place the chocolate-covered date on a parchment paper-lined tray.
step 5
Sprinkle with Almonds (4 Tbsp) and Sea Salt Flakes (1 Tbsp).
step 6
Place into the freezer for about 10 minutes and let the chocolate set. Serve once the chocolate has set.
