Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine
Long Grain White Rice (160 g)
,
Water (720 mL)
, and
Cinnamon Stick (1)
. together. Cover with plastic wrap, and leave it at room temperature for at least 4 hours or overnight in the fridge.
Step 2
Into a blender, add rice, some small pieces of cinnamon, and about 2 cups of water from soaking rice. Blend until smooth and forms the paste texture.
Step 3
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher. Add
Milk (240 mL)
,
Vanilla Extract (2 mL)
, and
Granulated Sugar (50 g)
. Mix well until sugar is dissolved.
Step 4
Store in the fridge until ready to drink. Serve with
Ice (to taste)
and garnish with a cinnamon stick if needed.
