step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
step 2
In a medium saucepan, combine Fresh Cranberries (200 g), Cane Sugar (100 g), Orange Juice (4 Tbsp), Orange Zest (2 tsp), Vanilla Extract (1 tsp), and Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp). Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
step 3
Roll out each sheet of puff pastry into about a 12-x-12-inch square. Spread cooled cranberry filling across top of one sheet of Puff Pastry (2 sheets) out to the edges. Place the other sheet of puff pastry on top.
step 4
Cut out as many shapes as you can using cookie cutters, and transfer to a baking sheet.
step 5
In a small bowl, whisk together Egg (1) and Water (1 tsp), then brush onto tops of cutouts lightly.
step 6
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool slightly, then dust with Powdered Confectioners Sugar (to taste) before serving.
