Combine Granulated Sugar (150 g), Water (240 mL), and lemon zest in a small pot to make simple syrup. Heat the pot over medium-high heat until mixture starts to simmer and stir until sugar dissolves.

While the simple syrup cools, juice the lemon and strain to remove all the seeds and the pulp.

Combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup in a pitcher. Add Water (480 mL) to dilute. If you prefer your lemonade even thinner, add up to one cup more or until to your liking.
