Step 1
Add
Split Peas (55 g)
to 1/2 cup of water in a small sauce pan, bring to a boil, then simmer for approximately 45 minutes, or until cooked to your preferred texture.
Step 2
Once split peas have cooked, remove from stove and allow to cool.
Step 3
Add
Fresh Spinach (480 mL)
and
Kale (50 g)
to 2 large bowls.
Step 4
Top with
Red Cabbage (80 g)
, split peas,
Canned Chickpeas (100 g)
,
Red Bell Peppers (35 g)
,
Pecans (25 g)
,
Avocado (1/4)
,
Blue Cheese (30 g)
and sprinkle with
Chia Seeds (to taste)
and your favorite salad dressing. Serve and enjoy!
