In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the Bacon (455 g) til crispy. Flip after about 4 minutes so both sides have a chance to crisp up.

Transfer the bacon to a plate and cool for 5 minutes. Once cooled, dice the bacon.

In the same skillet over medium-high heat, add the Butter (1 Tbsp). Add the Ground Beef (455 g) and season with Salt (to taste) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste). Stir occasionally, breaking the beef chunks apart. Brown for 8 minutes.

Once the meat is browned, drain the fat and mix in the chopped bacon.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with the Butter (1 Tbsp).

Spoon the meat-and-bacon mixture into the baking dish as a first layer.

In a medium bowl, mix together the Heavy Cream (120 mL), Eggs (4), and half of the Shredded Cheddar Cheese (85 g). Season with Salt (to taste) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste). Pour over the meat. Top with the remaining half of the cheese and bake for 10 minutes.
