Author's Notes

Aged balsamic vinegar tends to be syrupy (and expensive). If you prefer, you can simmer regular balsamic vinegar on the stove for a few minutes until it is reduced to half its volume. You will then achieve the desired syrupy texture for the balsamic drizzle.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
No need to preheat! Prep your ingredients and let's start cooking!
Step 2
Place the Brussels Sprouts (680 g) on a sheet pan along with the Smoked Bacon (115 g) .
Step 3
Add the Olive Oil (60 mL) and toss with your hands to be sure that all of the sprouts are coated.
Step 4
Spread the mixture into a single layer. Season evenly with the Kosher Salt (6 g) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1 g) .
Step 5
Simply say: "Alexa, start oven". Your oven will set the right time and temperature for you.
Step 6
Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving dish.
Step 7
Drizzle immediately with the Aged Balsamic Vinegar (15 mL) . Taste for seasonings and serve while hot.
