Step 1
Slice the
12 Month Reypenaer Gouda (115 g)
and
3 Year Reypenaer Gouda (115 g)
. Rougly chop the
Cipollini Onions in Balsamic Vinegar (5)
.
Step 2
Preheat a panini press or heavy skillet over medium-low heat. Meanwhile, brush one side of each
Country White Bread (4 slices)
with a little of the
Olive Oil (15 mL)
.
Step 3
Flip the bread slices over and spread on a spoonful of
Fig Spread (80 g)
. Top with a layer of onions.
Step 4
Layer on the two cheeses.
Step 5
Place the sandwich on the skillet and press down with a spatula. Grill for about 5 minutes, or until the bread is turning golden brown and the cheese is melting. Flip the sandwich and continue cooking until the cheese is melted.
Step 6
Slice and serve immediately.
