Combine the Granulated Sugar (200 g) with one cup Water (240 mL) in a small sauce pot. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and cook 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and pour into a heat safe glass. Place in the fridge to cool.

Add half the Watermelons (610 g) and another Water (240 mL) a blender and puree until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer set over a large bowl. Discard the watermelon pulp.

Pour into glass jugs and store in the fridge. Before drinking, make sure to shake the lemonade up.

To make the slushies, Add the Ice (560 g) and Lemonade (360 mL) to a blender and blend until nearly smooth but slightly chunky. Add the Fresh Mint Leaves (1 Tbsp) or basil if using, taste and add more lemonade if desired.
