Step 1
Combine the Granulated Sugar (200 g) with one cup Water (240 mL) in a small sauce pot. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and cook 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and pour into a heat safe glass. Place in the fridge to cool.
Step 2
Add half the Watermelons (610 g) and another Water (240 mL) a blender and puree until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer set over a large bowl. Discard the watermelon pulp.
Step 3
Again, add the remaining Watermelons (610 g) and another Water (240 mL) to the blender, then puree until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer set over a large bowl. Discard the watermelon pulp.
Step 4
To the large bowl add the remaining Water (480 mL) , juice from Lemons (5) and the sugar water from the fridge. Whisk to combine and then taste. Add more water if it is too sweet for your liking.
Step 5
Pour into glass jugs and store in the fridge. Before drinking, make sure to shake the lemonade up.
Step 6
To make the slushies, Add the Ice (560 g) and Lemonade (360 mL) to a blender and blend until nearly smooth but slightly chunky. Add the Fresh Mint Leaves (2 g) or basil if using, taste and add more lemonade if desired.
