Step 1
Add the
Sweetened Shredded Coconut (300 g)
to the jug or bowl of your food processor and blend on high for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Scrape down the sides, add the
Peppermint Oil (10 mL)
and
Coconut Oil (60 mL)
and continue blending on high for another 10 minutes. You will need to stop, scrape down the sides and continue blending.
Step 3
Continue blending until you have a coarse paste.
Step 4
Shape the paste into about 16 balls and place on a lined baking tray or chopping board.
Step 5
Shape the balls into patties and then refrigerate until sold, around 30 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the patties from the fridge and begin decorating them. Add a few drops of
AmeriColor Flo-Coatâ„¢ (to taste)
to the
White Chocolate (200 g)
.
Step 7
Tint the chocolate with the
AmeriColor Soft Gel Pasteâ„¢ in Turquoise (to taste)
,
AmeriColor Soft Gel Pasteâ„¢ in Avocado (to taste)
and
AmeriColor Soft Gel Pasteâ„¢ in Teal (to taste)
until you reach a desired shade of blue.
Step 8
Working quickly, dip each of the patties in the chocolate and place on a wire rack to set. Repeat so that each pattie is well-coated in chocolate.
Step 9
You might need to melt the chocolate again, which will allow you to tint half of it a darker shade of blue. Use this to coat dip the patties again to obtain a marble effect.
Step 10
Melt the chocolate again if need be, and then make it even darker using the
AmeriColor Soft Gel Pasteâ„¢ in Teal (to taste)
.
Step 11
Using a fork, quickly splash patties with the darker chocolate.
Step 12
Finish off decorating the patties by using a clean paintbrush to fleck each one with
AmeriColor Soft Gel Pasteâ„¢ in Bright White (to taste)
and gently sprinkle with
Edible Glitter (to taste)
.
Step 13
Allow to set in the refrigerator for another 30 minute or overnight. Serve and enjoy!
