Step 1
Cook the
Spaghetti (450 g)
following the directions on the package for al dente pasta, but subtract 1-2 minutes from what they suggest. We will be cooking this again in a frying pan so we want to undercook the pasta.
Step 2
Once the noodles are done, pour them into a strainer then lightly rinse off the extra starch and set aside.
Step 3
Cut the
Sirloin Steak (500 g)
thinly against the grain, put it into a bowl then add
Corn Starch (2 g)
.
Step 4
Combine the
Dark Soy Sauce (22 mL)
,
Soy Sauce (75 mL)
,
Granulated Sugar (10 g)
in a bowl.
Step 5
Marinate the beef with 2-3 teaspoons of the soy sauce mixture for 5-10 minutes.
Step 6
Cut the
Onion (1)
in half, slice it into thin half-moon slices, and set aside.
Step 7
In a frying pan (preferably a non-stick), add 2-3 tablespoons of
Oil (as needed)
set it to high heat, and wait for it to get hot.
Step 8
Add in the onions and cook them for 3 minutes until soft and golden.
Step 9
Add in the beef and cook for 3-5 minutes or until it looks done.
Step 10
Add in the spaghetti and then add the sauce mixture on top of everything and cook for 2-3 minutes until everything is nice and brown and evenly mixed. Serve and enjoy!
