Step 1
Heat
Olive Oil (5 mL)
in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add
Yellow Onions (80 g)
and
Garlic (2 cloves)
, and cook until onion is translucent and garlic has just a bit of color.
Step 2
Add in
Tomato Sauce (480 g)

Granulated Sugar (10 g)
,
Dried Parsley (as needed)
,
Dried Thyme (as needed)
,
Salt (6 g)
,
Dried Basil (1 g)
,
Dried Oregano (as needed)
, and
Ground Black Pepper (1 pinch)
and bring to a boil. Cook until sauce has reached desired consistency.
Step 3
Use an immersion blender, blender, or food processor to puree the sauce until smooth.
Step 4
Serve over literally any pasta, or use as the sauce in manicotti or lasagne. Enjoy!
