Cooking Instructions

HIDE IMAGES
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and line a bread tin with parchment paper and lightly grease with Nonstick Cooking Spray (as needed) .
Step 2
Into a large bowl, combine the All-Purpose Flour (250 g) , Baking Soda (7 g) , Salt (3 g) , Ground Ginger (8 g) , Ground Cinnamon (5 g) , Ground Allspice (2 g) , and Ground Nutmeg (1 g) .
Step 3
In a medium-sized bowl add the Apple Sauce (280 g) and whisk in the Vegan Butter (75 g) , Brown Sugar (220 g) , Egg Replacer (2) , Vanilla Extract (5 mL) , and Almond Milk (90 mL) . Whisk just till combined.
Step 4
Add the flour mixture to the apple sauce mixture and stir with a wooden spoon to well combine.
Step 5
Transfer batter to the baking tin and bake for 50-55 minutes.
Step 6
While the loaf bakes, make the glaze by combining the Powdered Confectioners Sugar (55 g) and Water (5 mL) in a bowl. Stir until combined.
Step 7
Cool for 5 minutes in the bread tin and remove and cool completely on the wire rack. Serve with vegan butter or drizzle whole loaf or each piece individually with the glaze!
