Quickly torch the duck skin, then slice the Duck Meat (1.1 lb) into pieces.

Fry Duck Fat (2 oz) in a hot pot, add Granulated Sugar (1 Tbsp), Garlic (1 clove), Onions (2), Fresh Ginger (1 Tbsp), Chili Peppers (5), and Star Anise (3).

Add duck, Fish Sauce (1 Tbsp), Vietnamese Spice Blend (1 tsp), Salt (1/2 tsp), and Granulated Sugar (1 tsp). Mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes.
4.
Prepare a bedding of Fresh Basil (0.5 oz) and serve the duck on the plate.
