Garlic & Herb Baguette

This simple Garlic & Herb Baguette couldn’t be any easier. It's packed with flavors and is way better than plain garlic bread. This is an excellent addition to any pasta and salad dish that will help you soak up all the delicious sauce otherwise wasted on the plate.

Butter , softened

1/2 cup

Sliced Fresh Chives

1/2 cup

Minced Fresh Parsley

•

4 Tbsp

Minced Fresh Oregano

or 1 Tbsp Dried Oregano

1 tsp

Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

•

8 cloves

Garlic , grated

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

In a large mixing bowl, add the Butter (2 cups) , Fresh Chives (1/2 cup) , Fresh Parsley (1/2 cup) , Fresh Oregano (4 Tbsp) , Garlic (8 cloves) , Salt (to taste) , Ground Black Pepper (to taste) , and Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1 tsp) . This also can be done in a food processor.

Using a bread knife, slice the Baguettes (3) . Cut about 2/3 of the way through the bread with a 2-inch gap between each slit, making sure not to cut all the way through.

Smear about 2 Tbsp of the herb butter mixture into each section.

Wrap each baguette in aluminum foil and bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes.

Unwrap and bake for another 3-4 minutes until the baguette is crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Serve warm.
