This Chinese soup is made with Cilantro and Crucian Carp, a cheap fish found in markets and common in every household.

Cooking Instructions
1.
Slice the Crucian Carp Fillets (9 oz) into 1/2 inch strips.
2.
Transfer the fish into a bowl. Add the Ground Ginger (1/2 tsp). Set aside.
3.
In a bowl, add the Corn Starch (3 Tbsp), Water (1/2 cup) and some Salt (to taste).
4.
Add the fish and massage it into the cornstarch mixture. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
5.
Roughly chop the Fresh Cilantro (1 cup).
6.
Peel and slice the Fresh Ginger (2 in) into thin strips.
7.
In a pot, add Water (4 cups) and the sliced ginger. Bring to a boil.
8.
Once the water is boiling, add the marinated fish. Let cook for 5 minutes, then add the chopped cilantro. You can add more cilantro if you wish. Taste and adjust Ground White Pepper (1/4 tsp).
9.
Transfer to a bowl, and serve immediately.
