Cooking Instructions

In a mixing bowl, prepare the Lemon Sesame Sauce by combining the zest and juice from Lemon Zest (1), Shallots (2), Sesame Seeds (1 Tbsp), Soy Sauce (1 1/3 Tbsp), Honey (2 tsp), Toasted Sesame Oil (1 tsp), and Fresh Ginger (2 tsp). Stir well to combine all the ingredients and set aside.

Brush the Salmon Fillets (4) with Olive Oil (1 Tbsp) on both sides and season with Salt (to taste).

Place a non-stick pan on medium heat and place the salmon filets skin-side down, cook the salmon 80% of the way through skin-side down. This will take about 8 minutes.

Then, flip the salmon and add Water (3 Tbsp), immediately close with a tight lid and remove from the heat. This will allow the salmon to steam and cook gently all the way through. This should take about 3 minutes.

Once the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily, remove it from the pan and transfer it to a serving plate.

Pour the Lemon Sesame Sauce over the seared salmon filet, allowing it to coat the fish evenly.
7.
Garnish with torn Fresh Cilantro Leaves (1/2 cup) for added freshness and flavor. Serve the salmon with Lemon Sesame Sauce immediately, and enjoy it with your favorite side dishes.
