Milk

or Non-Dairy Milk

2 Tbsp

Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

•

Candy Cane , crushed

or Peppermint Candy

4 Tbsp

Mini Marshmallows

1/2 cup

75% Dark Chocolate

•

1/4 tsp

Vanilla Extract

•

1 pinch

Cooking Instructions

Place the Milk (2 cups) , Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (2 Tbsp) , Candy Cane (1) , and Mini Marshmallows (4 Tbsp) in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk constantly until warm but not boiling.

Add 75% Dark Chocolate (1/2 cup) and whisk constantly until the chocolate is melted and incorporated with milk.

Whisk in Vanilla Extract (1/4 tsp) and a pinch of Salt (1 pinch) . Then, pour into mugs.

Garnish the top with marshmallows and sugar cane. Serve immediately.

Author's Notes

Substitute to 100% chocolate or replace with more unsweetened cacao powder for a vegan option. Also, substitute with vegan marshmallows.
