Cooking Instructions
1.
Combine Floour (2 1/2 cups), Eggland's Best Classic Eggs (3), Olive Oil (1 Tbsp), and Salt (1/2 tsp) in a bowl. Knead until smooth. If too dry, add a little Water (as needed). Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.

In a pan, melt Butter (1 Tbsp), and sauté Onion (1), and Spinach (7 oz) until soft.

Mix the Ground Beef (3.5 oz), Ground Pork (3.5 oz), Cooked Ham (3.5 oz), Eggland's Best Classic Egg (1), Dijon Mustard (1 tsp), and sautéed spinach in a bowl.

Squeeze out the soaked White Bread (2 slices) well and add to the bowl with the spinach. Mix everything together with a wooden spoon or your hands. Season withSalt (to taste), Ground Black Pepper (to taste), and Ground Nutmeg (to taste).

Roll out the dough into a thin sheet (about 2mm). Cut into large rectangles (about 10x12 cm).

Place 1-2 tbsp of filling on one side, fold over, and press edges firmly (use a little water to seal). You can also crimp with a fork. Repeat until all the filling is used.
7.
Bring the Vegetable Broth (4 cups) to a simmer and gently add the Maultaschen. Let them cook for about 10-15 minutes until they float to the top.
8.
Serve in broth as a soup or pan-fry in butter for a crispy version. Garnish with Fresh Chives (as needed) and enjoy!
