Chinese Pork Dumplings

The point is, there are too many Asian dumpling soups to mention, but here I give you the most basic, delicious and quick version there is. Once you master this, you will be able to build on that knowledge and practice, preparing your own versions with the ingredients which are the most easy to obtain, the most affordable and the most delicious for your own preferred taste and texture.

Carrots , diced

1 Tbsp

Corn Starch

Eggland's Best Classic Egg , separated

•

1 Tbsp

Toasted Sesame Oil

•

1 tsp

Chili Oil

1 pinch

Granulated Garlic

1 pinch

Ground Ginger

•

2 Tbsp

Scallions , sliced

•

2 Tbsp

Fresh Cilantro , chopped

Soy Sauce

Cooking Instructions

In a bowl add Ground Pork (1 lb) , Carrots (1 cup) , Scallions (2 Tbsp) , Fresh Cilantro (2 Tbsp) , Corn Starch (1 Tbsp) , white part of Eggland's Best Classic Egg (1) , Toasted Sesame Oil (1 Tbsp) , Chili Oil (1 tsp) , Granulated Garlic (1 pinch) , Ground Ginger (1 pinch) , and a bit of Soy Sauce (to taste) .

Mix well until there are no lumps.

Lightly brush a Wonton Wrappers (to taste) with water, add about 1 teaspoon of stuffing, close the dumpling, and squeeze the edges tightly together.

Simmer the dumpling in salted water for about 2 to 3 minutes until done. This should be about 30 seconds after they float to the top.

Serve with black vinegar for dipping or in your favorite soup broth!
