Salmon Fillet

Kosher Salt

Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Cooking Instructions
1.
Heat your pan over medium heat WITHOUT OIL. As the pan heats up, pat the Salmon Fillets (1 in) dry with a paper towel.

Add Vegetable Oil (3 Tbsp). Don't be afraid to add more if you are using a large pan.
3.
Immediately after adding the oil, lay the skin-side of the salmon fillet down away from you. Season the top with Kosher Salt (1 pinch) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1 pinch). Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
4.
Flip the Salmon Fillet (1) cook for another 3 minutes for medium rare.
5.
Serve and enjoy!
Author's Notes
Make sure you have a fish spatula handy. It has more bend than a normal metal spatula which enables you to get under a delicate piece of fish more easily.
