Cooking Instructions
1.
Chop the Tomatoes (1 cup), Mince the Garlic (2 cloves). Chop the Onions (1 cup).
2.
Cook Spaghetti (7 oz) according to package instructions. Reserve a 1/4 cup of the water for the sauce.
3.
Heat Olive Oil (2 tsp) in a pan and add garlic and onion. Cook for a minute on high or until they are translucent.
4.
Add tomato and mix well. Keep stirring frequently or the mixture might burn.
5.
Once the tomato reduces to a mush, season with Salt (to taste) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (2 tsp). Add Tomato Paste (2 tsp) and Dried Oregano (2 tsp). Mix well and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
6.
Add Almond Butter (2 Tbsp) to the sauce. Add a splash of the starchy cooking water and mix well. Let it boil for 2 minutes.
7.
Add the cooked pasta and mix well. Top with Cheese (to taste) and Slivered Almonds (to taste), if desired.
