Maple and Pecan Granola

Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

Chopped Pecans

Sun-Maid Raisins

Shelled Sunflower Seeds

Simply Organic Cinnamon, Ground

Salt

Maple Syrup

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a sheet tray with a silicone mat so that the granola doesn't stick too badly. Lightly grease the mat with Olive Oil (as needed) .

Combine the Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (3 cups) , Chopped Pecans (1 1/2 cups) , Sun-Maid Raisins (1 1/2 cups) , Shelled Sunflower Seeds (1 1/2 cups) , Simply Organic Cinnamon, Ground (2 tsp) , Salt (1 pinch) , Maple Syrup (3/4 cup) , and Water (3/4 cup) in a large mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly until combined.

Spread the mixture out into a thin single layer on the prepared sheet tray and bake for 30 minutes.

After baking, remove the tray and turn off the oven.

Break the granola up and toss it well, then put the tray back into the oven to dry out completely for 2 hours.

When dry, transfer the granola into sealable containers.

Author's Notes

This recipe makes about 8 cups and can be stored for up to a month to be used in countless ways.
