These poppers were a mid-game rule changer for me because I was all ready to bake up a big pan of cheesy Jalapeño Cornbread! A perfectly yummy, spicy & cheesy pan of cornbread.

Jalapeño Peppers

Cornbread Mix

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Cooking Instructions
1.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
2.
Slice each Jalapeño Peppers (12) down the center and carefully remove all of the seeds and veins. Set aside.
3.
In a medium bowl, mix the Cornbread Mix (1 box) according to the box instructions, then add in Canned Corn (1 cup) and Shredded Cheddar Cheese (1 1/2 cups).
4.
Fill each pepper with batter- be careful not to overfill!
5.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
6.
Place the peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cornbread is firm and cooked through. They will be puffed and cheesy!
7.
Let cool and enjoy!
