This spicy carrot mezcal margarita is the perfect blend of smoky, spicy and savory. Think of it as the margarita version of a Bloody Mary. It’s the perfect healthy summer cocktail for BBQ’s or feeling something different.

White Mezcal

Carrot Juice

Lime
, juiced

Agave Syrup

Jalapeño Pepper
, sliced

Baby Carrots
(optional)
Cooking Instructions
1.
Add the Lime Juice (1), Agave Syrup (0.5 oz), and 2 slices of Jalapeño Pepper (1) into a cocktail shaker or mason jar.

Muddle the jalapeños gently.
3.
Add ice, the Carrot Juice (2 oz), and White Mezcal (2 oz). Shake for 15 seconds.
4.
Strain into a glass with ice.
5.
Garnish with leftover jalapeño slices and Baby Carrots (to taste).
Author's Notes
To make this a spicy mezcal margarita, mezcal is a must. If you’re not a fan of mezcal you can definitely use tequila.
