A gorgeous vodka sauce tossed with succulent shrimp and tender penne. It's a classic match made in heaven!

Cooking Instructions

Take out a sturdy pot or dutch oven. Heat Butter (3 Tbsp) and Olive Oil (2 Tbsp) over medium-high heat.

Add Onion (1) and Garlic (6 cloves), let them get soft and fragrant for a couple of minutes.

Add in Shrimp (1 lb) and cook until it becomes pink for another couple of minutes.
4.
Pour in Diced Tomatoes (2 cans). Season the mixture generously with Salt (2 pinches) and Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (2 pinches). Let it simmer and thicken for 20 minutes.

Pour in Vodka (1/3 cup), Heavy Cream (2 cups), and Grated Parmesan Cheese (1/2 cup), stir thoroughly. Let it bubble and thicken some more for another 20 minutes.
6.
In the meantime, get a pot of water on to boil. Once boiling, cook Penne Pasta (1 lb) until tender for about 8 minutes.
7.
Drain the pasta and toss it in with the finished sauce. Serve with some salad and crusty bread for an incredible meal. Enjoy!
