Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a springform pan with butter and line the base with baking paper.
Step 2
In a large bowl, beat the Salted Butter (125 g) with the Granulated Sugar (125 g) until pale and fluffy.
Step 3
Add the Organic Eggs (2) one at a time, beating well after each egg. Use a spatula to fold in the Cake Flour (50 g) , Almond Flour (100 g) , and Baking Powder (3 g) .
Step 4
Spoon the batter into the prepared springform pan and use the spatula to smooth the top. The batter will only fill the pan about 2.5 cm thick.
Step 5
Arrange the Cherries (20) over the top of the batter and bake in the oven (fan off) for 25 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the cake from the oven, sprinkle over the Sliced Almonds (50 g) and return the cake to the oven for a further 10 minutes. The cake is cooked once a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 7
Leave the cake to cool in the pan before turning it out and dusting the top with Powdered Confectioners Sugar (to taste) . Serve the cake and enjoy!
