Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Heat the Olive Oil (45 mL) and Butter (30 g) in a large rondeau pan over medium high heat.
Step 2
Add the White Onion (1) and Canned Diced Tomatoes (2 cans) and let it all come to a gentle boil. Let the mixture simmer for 25 minutes so it can reduce and thicken.
Step 3
In the meantime, get a large pot of water on the stove to boil for the pasta. Salt it generously.
Step 4
When the tomato mixture is done simmering, add the Heavy Cream (480 mL) , GREY GOOSE® Vodka (60 mL) , Salt (1 pinch) , and Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1 pinch) .
Step 5
Stir it in thoroughly and let it simmer for another 20 minutes to thicken and develop flavor.
Step 6
After 20 minutes, add the Fresh Crab Meat (225 g) to gently poach in the sauce for 5 minutes more.
Step 7
While that all happens, cook the Rotini Pasta (455 g) in the boiling water for about 10 minutes.
Step 8
Drain the pasta, transfer it into the pan of sauce and toss it all together.
Step 9
Take the pan off of the heat and scoop the pasta into bowls. Top with the Parmesan Cheese (to taste) and serve!
