Step 1
Make the pickled carrot and radish: Place the
Carrots (150 g)
and
Daikon Radishes (150 g)
in a jar. Fill the jar with
Distilled White Vinegar (240 mL)

Water (180 mL)
, and
Granulated Sugar (50 g)
.
Step 2
Cover the jar tightly with the lid, then gently shake to mix all the ingredients. Allow to brine for at least 1 hour before placing on your Bahn Mi burgers.
Step 3
Make the sauce: Combine
Mayonnaise (55 g)
with
Thousand Island Dressing (60 mL)
. Mix well.
Step 4
Add the
Lemongrass (3 stalks)
,
Brown Sugar (20 g)
,
McCormick® Garlic Powder (3 g)
,
Salt (3 g)
and
Ground Black Pepper (as needed)
to the
Ground Pork (455 g)
.
Step 5
Mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are well combined.
Step 6
Divide the ground pork into 4 equal portions. Form them into burger patties slightly larger than the hamburger buns. Place the formed patties on to parchment paper cut into squares for easier handling.
Step 7
Top the patties with a dash of salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Step 8
Heat
Cooking Oil (30 mL)
in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 9
Carefully place the patties on to the skillet and allow to sear, without touching, for about 1 minute on each side until fully cooked.
Step 10
To assemble: Smear the sauce over the bottom
Hamburger Buns (4)
, then place the pork patty over the sauce.
Step 11
Top with
Cucumbers (12 slices)

Fresh Basil Leaves (40 g)
,
Fresh Cilantro (25 g)
, pickled carrot and daikon radish,
Jalapeño Pepper (1)
, then the top burger bun.
