Step 1
Place a piece of wax paper in an 8 -inch square pan. Spray the wax paper with cooking spray.
Step 2
Spray a large bowl with
Nonstick Cooking Spray (as needed)
and add the
Rice Krispies® Cereal (85 g)
and
Freeze Dried Strawberries (140 g)
.
Step 3
In a large saucepan, melt
Butter (45 g)
over low heat. Add
Mini Marshmallows (200 g)
, and stir until completely melted. As soon as you remove the marshmallows from the heat, pour them over the rice krispie mixture.
Step 4
Quickly grab a spoon or spatula, and spray with
Nonstick Cooking Spray (as needed)
. Use to mix the rice krispie mixture until evenly coated. Pour into prepared pan, and press evenly. Refrigerate 30 minutes to let cool.
Step 5
Once cooled, microwave the
Strawberry Fruit Spread (165 g)
in a microwave oven for about 30 seconds. This will loosen it up and make it easier to pour and spread.
Step 6
Pour evenly over the rice krispies with a spatula. Refrigerate another 10-15 minutes.
Step 7
Once the fruit spread has cooled, remove the pan from the fridge, and use the wax paper to lift the rice krispies out of the pan. Cut into 1 inch pieces, and set aside.
Step 8
Place
White Chocolate (170 g)
and
Canola Oil (15 mL)
into a bowl, and heat in a microwave oven for 30 seconds. Stir chocolate while it finishes melting. Once melted, quickly pour over the rice krispie treats.
Step 9
Serve immediately, and enjoy!
