Step 1
In a microwave-safe bowl, mix
Milk Chocolate Chips (55 g)
and
Milk (60 mL)
. Melt in the microwave for 1 minute.
Step 2
Into the melted chocolate, add the
Apple Sauce (70 g)
,
Vanilla Extract (2 mL)
,
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (4 g)
, and
Granulated Sugar (8 g)
. Mix well.
Step 3
Add the
All-Purpose Flour (30 g)
,
Baking Powder (2 g)
,
Baking Soda (2 g)
,
Salt (1 pinch)
and mix well.
Step 4
Add the
Egg (1)
and gently beat to combine.
Step 5
Spray a large microwave-safe mug with
Nonstick Cooking Spray (as needed)
. Pour batter into mug and set on a plate.
Step 6
Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar and garnish with fresh berries and/or chocolate syrup.
