Author's Notes

Most ready-made shortcrust or puffy pastries are vegan, but please double-check the package beforehand, I used a 320 g Jus-Rol shortcrust pastry sheet.

You can replace blackberry jam with any red-colored jam such as strawberry, raspberry, or red currant jam.

Aquafaba is the viscous water in which legume seeds such as chickpeas have been cooked. You can replace it will soy/almond milk if you don’t have it.

In this recipe, I used Vegan Googly Eyes to decorate the mummy pies. You can find the recipe for Vegan Googly Eyes on SideChef.

Preheat the oven to 400/350 degrees F (200/180 degrees C) fan.
Step 2
