Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
In a cast iron skillet, sauté
Bacon (3 slices)
until slightly brown on the edges. Add
Butter (75 g)
and
Garlic (3 cloves)
and stir till well combined.
Step 3
Add
All-Purpose Flour (30 g)
. Stir constantly for about a minute.
Step 4
Add
Heavy Cream (240 mL)
and
Whole Milk (240 mL)
. Give it a quick stir, then add the
Lobster (240 mL)
,
Bay Leaf (1)
and
Salt (6 g)
. This mixture should thicken up very quickly.
Step 5
When the mixture has thickened, slowly add
Medium Cheddar Cheese (225 g)
,
Smoked Cheddar Cheese (225 g)
and
Mozzarella Cheese (115 g)
1/2 cup at a time.
Step 6
When all of the cheese is melted, add the
Pasta (455 g)
. Stir till well combined.
Step 7
Remove the bay leaf.
Step 8
In a separate bowl, mix the
Panko Breadcrumbs (75 g)
with the melted
Butter (30 g)
.
Step 9
Top the macaroni with the buttered panko breadcrumbs.
Step 10
Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown. Enjoy!
