This recipe makes about 8 cups and can be stored for up to a month to be used in countless ways.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a sheet tray with a silicone mat so that the granola doesn't stick too badly. Lightly grease the mat with Olive Oil (as needed) .
Step 2
Combine the Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (270 g) , Chopped Pecans (165 g) , Raisins (215 g) , Shelled Sunflower Seeds (190 g) , Ground Cinnamon (5 g) , Salt (1 pinch) , Maple Syrup (180 mL) , and Water (180 mL) in a large mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly until combined.
Step 3
Spread the mixture out into a thin single layer on the prepared sheet tray and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 4
After baking, remove the tray and turn off the oven.
Step 5
Break the granola up and toss it well, then put the tray back into the oven to dry out completely for 2 hours.
Step 6
When dry, transfer the granola into sealable containers.
