Step 1
Preheat oven to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C).
Step 2
Fill a saucepan with a few inches of water, and bring to a simmer.
Step 3
Place bowl on top of saucepan. Then add Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (65 g) , Unsalted Butter (150 g) , Granulated Sugar (250 g) , and Salt (2 g) . Allow the butter to melt completely.
Step 4
Let rest until the butter has melted and stir.
Step 5
Remove bowl from heat.
Step 6
Stir in Vanilla Extract (5 mL) .
Step 7
Add Farmhouse Eggs® Large Brown Eggs (2) , one at a time. Stir well to combine.
Step 8
Add All-Purpose Flour (70 g) .
Step 9
Add Chocolate (75 g) if using. Stir thoroughly to combine, about one minute.
Step 10
Pour mixture into floured baking tin.
Step 11
Spread out mixture evenly in the pan.
Step 12
Place brownies in the oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until just set.
