Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step 2
Rinse and drain
Chickpeas (1 can)
, then dry well with a paper towel or clean dish towel. Remove skins if desired.
Step 3
Combine the
Smoked Paprika (1 g)
,
Ground Garlic (1 g)
,
Ground Turmeric (as needed)
,
Ground Cinnamon (as needed)
,
Coarse Sea Salt (1 g)
and
Cayenne Pepper (as needed)
in a small bowl.
Step 4
Add chickpeas to a baking sheet. Drizzle with
Coconut Oil (11 mL)
and toss to coat. Sprinkle seasoning mixture over the oil-covered chickpeas, toss to fully cover, then spread seasoned chickpeas onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
Step 5
Roast 30 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove and shake the pan halfway through. Once golden and crispy, remove from oven, allow them to cool.
