Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Spray an 8x11-inch baking dish with non-stick spray and set aside.
Step 2
Cook
Whole Grain Penne (200 g)
according to package directions for al dente. Drain and pour into the baking dish.
Step 3
While the pasta is cooking, wash the
Asparagus (455 g)
and break off the tough woody ends. You can gently bend them and they will break at the right spot. Then chop the asparagus into bite sized pieces, about 1-inch.
Step 4
Place into a shallow dish with a little water. Cook in a microwave oven on high for 3 minutes. Drain and add to the baking dish.
Step 5
Cook
Sweet Italian Sausage Links (455 g)
in a microwave oven until no longer pink in the center. Slice into bite-sized pieces. Add to the baking dish.
Step 6
Pour the
Marinara Sauce (480 mL)
on top of all ingredients and stir to combine well. Tear the
Mozzarella Cheese (225 g)
into chunks and place on top.
Step 7
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 8
Sprinkle
Fresh Thyme (to taste)
over top. Serve and enjoy!
